Empowering the Unseen Pillars of Society

In India, countless women from rural communities are held back by deep-rooted cultural patriarchy and a lack of access to skill development. At अलबेली, we empower a unique group of women—those who stand above the level of house help yet fall short of opportunities available to working professionals. This often-overlooked demographic finds a platform with us, where they receive free skill training and sustainable livelihood opportunities. To date, we have successfully engaged over 150 women artisans, enabling them to earn an average monthly wage of Rs. 4850—40% higher than traditional earnings in their communities. Beyond providing financial stability, अलबेली offers these women a renewed sense of purpose, dignity, and independence. Our artisans, once facing limited prospects, now craft exquisite upcycled products, preserving traditional Indian crafts while building secure futures. This transformation creates a ripple effect, uplifting entire families and fostering economic growth within their communities.
